Anna Shalabayeva is the wife of Mukhtar Ablyazov, the founder of the main party in opposition of the kazakh Government of Nazarbayev. Ablyzaov was accused of the steal of five billion dollars but this was not proved and probably was just a strategy of the kazakh Government to get his silence. Ablyazov was put in jail and tortured until 2003, when Amnesty International helped him to get out from prison. Then he decided to escape with his wife and daughter before in Russia and after in England. When this last refuge became insecure Anna Shalabayeva moved to Italy. At the end of may 2013 the italian authorities expelled Anna from the country even if they had no power to do that. According to me this happened due to the pressure of the kazakh Government who wants to hold Ablyazov under control. At the beginning of july italian media gave the news of the expulsion of Anna , emphasizing that Italy had no right to do that. Yesterday our Minister of the Interior, Angelino Alfano, told to the Parliament that the Government didn’t know about Anna and her daughter, they didn’t know about Ablyazov, they didn’t know nothing. But this is not true and that’s the reason why part of the country is asking the resignation of Alfano. It seems that there is no time for the reforms whom Italy would need.
